Australia has the dubious honour of holding one of the world’s worst extinction records.
Despite this, land clearing and environmental degradation continues to occur. Worse yet are the little known species whose fate is far more bleak when up against proposed new caravan parks – such as the situation for the nationally threatened striped legless lizard. This little critter’s story among many others become the focus for dedicated conservationists.
