There’s a wave of green nomads and retirees in Australia who have decided to ditch the campervan and make their way around nature reserves in a bid to leave the landscape in a better state than when they arrived.
Braving the elements, this pair of retirees Marj and John Jones head out to the degraded valley floor of snowy mountain country in NSW. The problem? Weeds. Why is it important? The area will soon be host to thousands of saplings as part of a restoration effort of critically endangered yellow box woodland.
